About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee the FRC works and ensure the project is delivered on time to the highest standards. You will be responsible for supervising trades, labour, and subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, and liaising with site management to drive productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising site teams, subcontractors, and plant operatives
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
• Coordinating daily site activities and allocating tasks
• Monitoring progress, quality, and efficiency of work
• Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers, and Project Managers
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting any issues promptly
• Assisting with problem-solving and ensuring deadlines are met

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Foreman or Site Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of FRC / Joinery / Steelfixing (specify sector)
• Valid CSCS Gold/Black card (essential)
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)
• First Aid qualification (advantageous)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings

Groundworker

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Groundworker to join our team.

The role will involve general groundworks on construction sites, including site preparation, digging, drainage and concrete works.

Duties

• General groundworks and site preparation
• Digging trenches and foundations
• Drainage and pipe/duct installation
• Laying kerbs, slabs and concrete
• Assisting with other groundworks as required
• Keeping the work area clean and safe
• Following site safety requirements

Requirements

• Previous groundworking experience
• CSCS card required
• CPCS or NPORS Dumper and Roller tickets required
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential

Pay & Hours

• £20.50 per hour PAYE
• Site hours: 7:30am – 6:00pm
• 10 hours paid per shift
• £205 gross per day PAYE
• £43.00 lodge allowance per shift if your home address is more than 1 hour from the site
